The connection between Lefkada and the sea is immediately visible when you visit the island. There are plenty of options if you want to enjoy some watersports. Our favorite, Horizon Watersports, is only a short walk from our Villas and offers windsurfing, paddleboarding, and smaller sailboats.

World Class BEACHES
Lefkada is renowned for its collection of bright blue waters and crystal white beaches with breathtaking views. When you are ready for an adventure of this type, visit the beaches of Porto Katsiki, Egremni, and Kathisma. Less well-known but equally spectacular are the beaches of Mylos and Agios Nikitas.

Day Cruises
A simple way to tour the islands and nearby beaches is to try one of the local day cruises from nearby Nidri. One of our favorites, Odysseia, features a tour on a replica Greek warship and promises the ultimate experience. Their specially catered lunch on a local beach is one of our favorite experiences, ever.

Kitesurfing Destination
Kitesurfing in Lefkada are the one of the most popular sports on the island. The strong winds that blow in summer months from midday until late in the afternoon attract many tourists for kitesurfing in Lefkada. The main spot for kitesurfing is Agios Ioannis, a large beach close to Lefkada Town where thermal wind blows steadily almost every day in the summer.
